Can we take luggage on the tour?

No, our buses are designed for smaller groups and have limited storage space. Travelers can contact their hotel to make arrangements or there are lockers available at Central train station. Arrangements will need to be made well before the pick up time.

There is no tour on the day I want to travel, will there be?

If you do not see an available tour listed for the day you would like to travel, it may mean that the tour is already booked to capacity for that particular day, or that we do not have a tour scheduled for that day.

Please contact us and let us know which date you would like to travel and we'll let you know if a tour is available.

Can we take a stroller or pram?

No, there is no room for storing extra strollers safely on the bus.

Can my kids join your day tours too?

Our child rates apply to children aged 12 and under. If you're joining one of our award-winning wine tours, please note that the minimum drinking age in Australia is 18 years old. It is the responsibility of parents to ensure that their children do not disturb the enjoyment of the day for other passengers.

What are your pick-up locations?

We offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off from almost all central locations in Sydney city, and from most hotels within the Sydney CBD area. This includes Kings Cross, Potts Point, Darling Harbour, The Rocks. Circular Quay, Central Station and more. We can also pick-up at pre-arranged places along the Pacific Highway heading north to the Hunter Valley from the city and requested points of departure by arrangement.

When will you pick me up and drop me off?

Our Hunter Valley and Blue Mountains tours pick up in Sydney city between 7am and 7.45am, depending on the location of your hotel. Exact times will be notified upon booking confirmation. Please allow at least a 10 minute margin for traffic conditions. Drop-off is about 6.00 to 6.30pm. Our Wildlife Tours depart and return later - this will be confirmed at the time of booking.

What do your shared small group tours include?

Our Wine Tour includes: pick-up / drop-off from Sydney Hotel, travel in luxury vehicle, fully guided wine tour with expert guide, and  formal wine tastings. Lunch Options are available.

Our Wildlife Tour includes: pick-up / drop-off from Sydney Hotel, fully guided wildlife tour with naturalist guide, entry to all National Parks and private farms. Fully equipped luxury 4WD with field guides, binoculars & spotlights.

Our Blue Mountains Tour includes: pick-up / drop-off from Sydney Hotel, travel in luxury vehicle, fully guided nature & culture tour with expert guide, entry to Waradah Aboriginal Cultural Centre, entry to Featherdale wildlife park, entry to Blue Mountains National Park & return to Sydney via Harbour cruise.

Which days do your tours operate?

Our tours to the Hunter Valley (wine tours) run daily, year round. Our Southern Highlands (wildlife tours) run four days per week (Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday). Our Blue Mountains tours run Monday through Saturday. Please note all tours are subject to availability and minimum number requirements; we recommend that you book well in advance to secure your place! We do not operate on Christmas Day (25 December) or New Year's Day (1 January).

How Can I Book?

You can book over the internet via the Secure Booking Form, email us or give us a call on our 24 hour booking service on (02) 9436 1333. Payment is taken by credit card when booking to confirm your place. Gift Vouchers are also available.

Are your tours accessible in a wheelchair?

As storage space on our buses is limited, we do require that you give us advance warning if you or a fellow passenger will be traveling with a folding wheelchair, so that we can make the appropriate arrangements. There is no extra storage room on the bus so this may only be possible if the tour is not fully sold out. Any passengers traveling with a fold up wheel chair must be accompanied by someone who is capable of folding and lifting the chair.

Will I be able to travel with luggage?

We are unable to carry luggage larger than overnight bags on our tours, due to storage space limitations on board. If you will be travelling with luggage, please contact us so that we can arrange a trailer for you.

What happens at lunchtime on your Hunter Valley wine tours?

We stop at the Hunter Valley Garden Village for lunch. Here, we offer upgrades to either a quick cafe lunch for $20pp, or a two-course gourmet meal for $56pp. Otherwise, you're welcome to do your own thing - there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and boutique shops to browse. You could even wander over to the Hunter Valley Cheese Company for a cheese tasting, or visit a couple more wineries. Or, just settle down with a good book in the sun! It's entirely up to you.

Why are your Hunter Valley wine tours different?

The tours we offer are flexible and we do not visit the same wineries every day. Our focus is on the smaller, boutique wineries of the Hunter Valley, and have tasted at over 80 wineries in the region. This means you will have a more personal experience, with guides who are passionate, knowledgeable and friendly. A small group means personal attention. We've spared no expense making the vehicle comfortable - full height reclining seats, lap/sash seat belts, air-conditioning, on-board TV/DVD and fridge. Try it for yourself!

Are we required to do everything as a group?

Not at all. We are happy to work around you, if you have any requests we can accommodate. We pride ourselves on our flexibility, and we are certainly able to take individuals to alternate wineries and lunch venues. Just let your guide know on the day or advise our friendly staff in the office, and we'll pass the notes on to your guide!

Do you have a set itinerary for your wine tours? Which wineries do you visit?

Our tours are quite flexible. Our guides have visited over 80 different wineries in the region, concentrating mainly on the small boutique wineries. If you have any preferences for wineries or wine styles, please let us know when you book and we will do our best to accommodate for your group if we can.

Which meals do your wildlife tours include?

This depends on when you're travelling. From the beginning of April to the end of September, our wildlife tours depart earlier in the day, which means that lunch is included in the tour. If you're travelling from October to March, you'll be receiving a light afternoon tea instead. A hearty dinner is included year-round at the Surveyor General Inn, Australia's oldest continuously licensed inn.

Is it possible to stay overnight in the Hunter Valley?

When does your Wildlife tour depart?

Departure times for our wildlife tours vary monthly, to ensure we have the best chance of spotting the local wildlife. Their patterns change depending on the time of year, weather patterns and the sunset, and we work around this to bring you the best possible Wildlife in the Wild tour. Please see our approximate departure times below. Exact times will be advised upon confirmation of your booking.

What will we see on a Wildlife tour?

With any luck, a bit of everything! There's just so much native Australian wildlife to see. We'll be keeping an eye out for Kangaroos, Koalas, Platypus, Wombats, Wallabies, and the elusive Emu! Australia is also home to a diverse range of birds, reptiles and unique mammals that won't be seen anywhere else. And, you'll have an experienced naturalist guide to point it all out to you!

Do your Blue Mountains tours have a lot of walking involved?

It is entirely up to you. We pride ourselves on flexible, personalised tours, so let us know what you want to do, and we'll do our best to accommodate you! If you're after some quick walks through the Australian bush, your guide will be able to point out some fantastic hotspots that end with breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains. If you'd rather avoid the walking component, we know plenty of easily accessible spots that are just as beautiful, and just as secluded! We want to make our tours work for you, not the other way around!

Will I see the Three Sisters on your Blue Mountains tour?

Certainly! The Three Sisters is one of the more iconic sites of the Blue Mountains. Your experienced guides know a number of isolated lookouts that have stunning, uninterrupted views of the Three Sisters. As well as this majestic landmark, sit back and let us show you Wentworth Falls, the Jamison Valley, Echo Point, the Grose River Valley and more; there's so much to see in the Blue Mountains!

Do you have accreditation?

Absolutely. We are accredited with the Ministry of Transport (35299) and carry the maximum Public Liability Insurance. Our owners have over 15 years of experience in the tourism industry, so you're in good hands!

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes. Our daily share-tours may be changed or cancelled up to 24 hours before your scheduled pick-up. Less than 24 hours notice incurs a full charge on the credit card provided. Accommodation packages may be changed or cancelled up to 48 hours before your scheduled pick-up. Less than 48 hours notice incurs a full charge on the credit card provided. Please see our Terms & Conditions page for more details. Private charter tours may be changed or cancelled up to 7 days before your scheduled pick-up. Less than 7 days notice incurs a full charge on the credit card provided.

Do we have to pay for our 2 year old (or younger) child?

No, if they are secured on your lap during travel. Children from 3 to 12 years of age will be charged at the Child rate and will have a seat allocated for them.

What currency are prices listed in?

Our website displays the prices for our day tours in Australian currency by default, however you can switch to your local currency by clicking the "Australian Dollar (AUD)" link on the top right side of every page.  Once you've selected a new currency our site will display both your local currency and the Australian Dollar value.

Please note that exchange rates used are for guidance only, the actual exchange rates charged by your credit card issuer or PayPal will be different.  All bookings made on our site are processed in Australian currency, your bank or credit card company will perform the currency exchange for you at their daily rates.

Are we supposed to tip the guide?

Tipping is not compulsory in Australia. However, it is a great reward for outstanding service. If you've had a great day, then rewarding your guide with a tip is really appreciated! We'd love for you to pass on any feedback you have to us in the office as well, and, more importantly, don't forget to tell your friends, family and fellow travellers what a great time you had!

Is booking online safe/secure?

Absolutely!  Our entire site is protected by high grade SSL (secure socket layer) encryption which encrypts all information transmitted between your computer and our server such that it can not be intercepted and viewed by any other party.

All of the information you submit during the booking process is secure during transmission and saved securely in an encrypted format in our database.  None of the information you provide during a transaction is ever transmitted in an unsafe manner, nor will we ever sell, rent or share your information with anyone for any reason.

Why don't I see tour availability information?

The tour availability information is displayed through the use of Javascript in your browser, so your browser must have Javascript enabled for it to work.  If you do not see the availability for any month, it is likely that your browser's security settings are preventing Javascript from functioning on our site, please review the security settings in your browser to correct the problem.
Our booking team can always tell you if you call which tours are available if you are unable to see it on the web page.
